NaNoWriMo

Well, it’s December so National Novel Writing Month is officially over. I failed to complete my Novel Idea but managed to write almost 36,000 words in the month of November. It took a lot of effort and time. The goal was to write 2000 words a day and finish with a 50000 word novel.

I started off with a brilliant idea and it waxed and waned like the moon as the month rallied on. What I wrote about is probably a mush mash of thought potatoes. I’m kinda afraid to read it actually. I’ll have to give it some time to marinate in my cloud of documents.

Until I get brave I’ll write other things for other reasons. Like my sad neglected blog and website. So much for those rad updates and changes I had good intentions of completing. I got swept up in the fall of it all and winter is fast approaching. I’m ready for spring but it’s a good thing I have winter to play catch-up.

Lots to do still it’s true. Books to finish. Ha! Sewing projects. Hoops to make. Paintings to create. Papers to organize and more not so fun things inbetween. Such is life… a rollercoaster of neverending to-do lists and goals. And then there’s that all important thing called sleep… yeah, I’m gonna do that one now. Zzz
